Prudential – Sunrise

Droga5 debuts its first work for Prudential, a montage of beautiful scenic shots tied together by a single sunrise. According to Creative Chairman David Droga, the entire film was shot in one day, within a three-hour window. Smuggler director Ringan Ledwidge set up 100 cameras across the country to track one sunrise as it rose across the country.

Shane Hurlbut and Jacob Rosenberg free workshop about DSLR filmmaking

Shane Hurlbut, ASC and Jacob Rosenberg from Bandito Brothers were invited to share their workflow for shooting on the Canon 5D MkII and editing in Adobe Premiere Pro. In this 69 minute audio interview, they discuss the excitement and difficulties DSLR shooting created and how they overcame many of the limitations of the 5D. There is a ton of great info shared and you may want to listen to it a few times.
